Thank you for taking the time to read this latest issue of the Undergraduate Journal of Service Learning and Community-Based Research. This issue covers a variety of topics including post-incarceration reentry support programs, the Rights of Nature, and factors that impact youth exposure to violence. I hope you enjoy reading these pieces.
Thank you to all of the undergraduates who submitted their work to this journal. We recognize the hard work and dedication that went into your service learning and community-based research, and we are proud that we can recognize that through publication in this journal. We would also like to thank your faculty mentors who helped you through this process. I would like to thank the journal’s editorial assistant, James King, for his work in putting this issue together. I would also like to thank our editorial board for their continued contributions to the vitality of this journal, as well as all of the reviewers who took the time to provide invaluable feedback to our authors.
Submissions for our Fall 2023 issue are being accepted now through August 31st. Undergraduate students, please submit your work. Faculty, please encourage your students to submit.
