Who Can Change the World? Lessons learned from international community-based research
Main Article Content
Abstract
A life-long commitment to the public good has led me down many paths and helped me learn the lessons which have guided me through higher education. The process of conducting my independent international research project was a process of learning, thinking I knew everything, recognizing I actually knew very little, and then setting off to learn more. Partnering with community members and organizations allowed me to conduct meaningful research which presents a case for actively including marginalized community members in conservation and sustainable resource management efforts.
